Sentry Scope
SentryScope is a 21 million-pixel ultra high resolution digital surveillance system with a 90° angle of view, it can provide facial identification in a area 90m wide and 60m away from the camera even in playback.
SentryScope uses advanced linescan technology to achieve ultra-high resolution surveillance video footage. Capable of capturing up to 21 million pixels per image, SentryScope can view large areas, while capturing enough data in each image to allow zooming into sub-regions in fine detail. In unmanned and partially-manned operations the ability to identify, suspicious people, item, and / or activity after the event, is critical
How Does SentryScope Work?
SentryScope is capable of capturing up to 21 million pixels per image. It uses advanced line scanning technology to achieve the highest level of resolution. At any one point in time, only a narrow vertical line in the monitored region is being viewed. This vertical line is comprised of 2,048 pixels. A precision optical scanner sweeps this line horizontally across the field of view 10240 times to obtain a full image in about one second. This ultra-high resolution allows security personnel to zoom into sub-regions after the fact to identify suspicious people, items, and/or activity.
